Former Chivas USA forward Chukwudi Chijindu is undergoing a trial run at German regional league (fourth division) club SV Babelsberg 03, according to a local newspaper report.

The 22-year old former University of Connecticut player made a “determined and robust” impression in his first training with the team, according to the report. He does not appear on Chivas’ roster of first team players and did not appear to play in any regular season games, though he did score in a preseason scrimmage against San Diego State.
