Eighteen-year old Fabrice-Jean (Fafà) Picault, a forward born in New York who currently plies his trade with Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio, has been called into the U.S. Men’s National Team’s U-20 camp, ASN has learned. The training camp, the team’s first of the new session, will take place later this month in Florida. U.S. soccer is expected to make an announcement next week.

“I’d like to thank God and the USA staff for bringing me in,” Picault said. “It’s always the biggest honor to be called in by your country. This being my first time, I’m thrilled and looking forward to making the best of this opportunity.”

For more on Picault, read this Q&A we did with him in October.
